Be picked up from your hotel by English speaking tour guide and private vehicle at 08:30 am.
Drive 1.5 hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained, easy for travelers to walk along the defensive project of ancient China. Badaling Great Wall was the best preserved part of the Ming Great Wall with over 600 years history. Here, the wall of this section was built of giant rocks and bricks of similar size, therefore, Badaling Great Wall was also regarded the strongest section of the Ming Great Wall. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours.
On the way back you will have a lunch at local restaurant which is located in Cloisonee factory. You will visit a large scale Cloisonne processing factory. There are workshop for demonstration of working, big interpreting rooms for us to know the Chinese cloisonee culture. You may also take photo in the huge exhibition hall and buy some souvenir as you like.
After lunch, we will come back to city. Then you are going to Summer Palace, first built in 1750. It is an outstanding expression of the creative art of Chinese landscape garden design, incorporating the works of humankind and nature in a harmonious whole. The SummerPalace epitomizes the philosophy and practice of Chinese garden design, which played a key role in the development of this cultural form throughout the East. The imperial Chinese garden, illustrated by the Summer Palace, is a potent symbol of one of the major world civilizations
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around 18:00
