  Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance. (B,L,D)

Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Great Wall. Lunch of Sichuan food will be at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Birds Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance. (B,L)

Day 04: Beijing - Kunming
Visit the Summer Palace. Take a flight to Kunming and transfer to the hotel. (B,L)

Day 05: Kunming - Lijiang
Take a morning flight to Lijiang and transfer to the hotel. Visit Baisha Village and a local Naxi family, Baisha Murals, the Rock Josephs Former Residence in Yuhu Village and the Square Street of Lijiang Old Town. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace in the evening.

Tips: Though the yearly temperature differences are not quite distinctive, the daily temperature changes quite greatly. It can be said without exaggeration that people wear the winter clothes in the morning and evening while summer clothes in the afternoon. Be aware of packing proper clothes.(B,L,D)

Day 06: Lijiang
Full day is free. You can enjoy the ancient town and pay a short visit to a Local Family of Naxi Minority by yourselves.

Tips: Unlike Beijing and Shanghai, Yunnan is a land with many ethnic groups. Naxi people are mainly settled in Lijiang. The living habits, folk customs, festivals are quite different from the group of Han. You will have a clear understanding if you visit the local family on your own. As a matter of fact, it is cost-efficient to buy some accessories, handicrafts or tea in Lijiang, because it is usually the last stop of Yunnan tour, namely, the last chance for shopping, so the vendors are willing to sell the goods at a reasonable price. Day 07: Lijiang - Kunming - Lunan
Take a morning flight back to Kunming. Transfer to visit the Stone Forest at Lunan and stay overnight at the hotel.

Tips: Stone Forest is typically exemplified by the karsts topography. Though it is 120 kilometers (75 miles) away from the city center, it is definitely worthwhile your visit. Walking through the Stone Forest, you are advised to follow your companions and guide closely, as you may be bewitched in the intricate landform. The nature makes it in various shapes. Some resemble human figures, animals, plants in appearance. It is open from 08: 30 to 18: 00.(B,L,D)

Day 08: Lunan - Shizong - Xingyi
Drive to Xingyi via Shizong. Xingyi is the southwest gate of entering Guizhou province. En route, visit the Local Tobacco Farm and a Local Country Market if time is proper. Upon arrival in Xingyi, visit the Local Folk Museum of the Wedding Rituals. Stay overnight at the local hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 09: Xingyi
Visit the Forest of Thousands of Mountain Peaks, the Maling Gorge and the Heaven-star Gallery which takes 2 hours hiking.(B,L,D)

Day 10: Xingyi - Huangguoshu Waterfall
Drive to Huangguoshu. En route, explore Zuoqi Black Miao Village to discover womens traditional costume with big earring, black turban and black cotton jacket. Visit the Buyi People Village to see their traditional way of spinning and weaving. Stay overnight at the local hotel.(B,L,D)

Day 11: Huangguoshu Waterfall - Guiyang
Visit the largest waterfall in Asia - Huangguoshu Waterfall. Upon arrival in Guiyang, visit the Jiaxiu Pavilion and the Qingyan Old Town. Stay overnight at the hotel.(B,L)

Day 12: Guiyang - Kaili
Drive to Kaili and check in at the local best hotel. Visit a Long-skirt Miao Village. You will experience the Miao peoples daily life by visiting the Local Families. Meanwhile, you can appreciate the Miao peoples typical architecture - Wooden Stilt House.(B,L)

Day 13: Kaili - Guiyang - Shanghai
Visit the traditional way of paper-making and a Long-skirt Miao Village. Transfer back to Guiyang and take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. (B,L)

Day 14: Shanghai
The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden. The guide will accompany you walking along the Bund area and visiting a local family in the afternoon. You will enjoy an amazing Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.(B,L,D)

Day 15: Departure from Shanghai
