Day 2: Beijing Todays Activities: Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Treasure Houses, Hall of Clocks and Watches Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Dianmen Branch)(Lunch), Chinese Dinner at Bai Family Courtyard (Dinner) Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, we will visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City which is the Palace of Chinese emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasty 500 years ago. As for the lunch, enjoy wheaten food of Beijing cuisine at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant. Jing Mian Da Wang specializes in its traditional decoration of old city with archaistic red lanterns & bridal sedan chair; it mainly caters wheaten food to diners from local and different regions, creating a cozy atmosphere of festival and household. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would offer sacrifice to heaven and pray for good harvests. In the evening, enjoy the dinner at Bai Restaurant. Day 3: Beijing Todays Activities: Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car), 798 Art District Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xing Shuang Quan Restaurant(Lunch), Chinese Dinner at Roasted Duck at Quanjude(Dinner) Detailed Itinerary: First stop we will visit the Great Wall- Mutianyu Section which has some unique characteristics over other section. A cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. And then, we will enjoy the delicious lunch at the Xing Shuang Quan restaurant. Its specialties include the Huairou specialty rainbow trout, sturgeon, salmon and other many other varieties. We will continue to visit 798 Art District this afternoon. In the evening, enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing. After dinner, you could explore Donghuamen Night Market by yourself. It is a famous street-food market that starts at the west end of Wangfujing Street. Donghuamen Night Market has black-tiled pavement and pristine-looking stalls selling skewers of meat, shellfish, fruits and vegetables. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Beijing - Xian Todays Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Beijing), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Xian), Hutong Tours in a Rickshaw, Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner at Minjianwagang restaurant (A La Carte)(Dinner) Detailed Itinerary: Today, you will experience Hutong Tours in Rickshaw. Hutong is a maze of historic alleyways and old single storey traditional courtyard houses, now fast disappearing. Dotted around the Hutong are the Drum and Bell Towers, Tea House, and local peoples houses. You will also visit with a local family and talk to the family members to gain a true understanding of life in this region and to have an experience of this unique form of community. And then you will learn Chinese cooking with the owners and have a lunch there. As for the dinner, you will enjoy it at Minjianwagang Restaurant, which is famous for its Title-Crock Soup. The Title-Crock Soup is made up spring water and fresh material, simmering in traditional method, has become one of the specialties in Shaanxi cuisine. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Xian Todays Activities: Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarters of Xian, Tang Dynasty Show Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Dumpling Banquet(Lunch), Chinese Dinner at (Dinner) Detailed Itinerary: First we will visit Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy Dumpling Banquet as for lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will continue our tour to visit Muslim Quarters of Xian. The 500 meters long avenue paved by bluestones are dotted with many unique stall, souvenir shop, café and bars which are mostly run by Muslim people. You could found a lot of local snacks here. The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defenses still around. Qianzhou Restaurant is well-known for its local flavors and ingredients originate from Qian County, its refreshment which is so-called Qianzhou Four Treasures was considered to be famous food nationwide. Day 11: Guilin - Yangshuo Todays Activities: Li River Cruise, Yangshuo Chinese Cooking Class Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner Detailed Itinerary: A cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery theres something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river.
