Day 01: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, meet at airport and transfer to your hotel.
 
Day 02: Beijing
A full day excursion by seat-in coach to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644AD).(B, L, D)
 
Day 03: Beijing
A morning tour of Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City; the complex of imperial palaces are home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Some of the grand halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasures. After lunch you will be driven to visit the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family, and take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming. This evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner. (B, L, D)
 
Day 04: Beijing - Xian
Your sightseeing this morning is the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. It is the largest temple complex remaining in China today. After lunch, take a two-hour flight to Xian, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. A city tour of the ancient city wall, one of few well-preserved ones in China. (B, L, D)
 
Day 05: Xian
This exciting day of sightseeing will include the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor, and the Bronze Chariots. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 AD. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk Xuanzang. (B, L, D)
 
Day 06: Xian - Luoyang
This morning, visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xian became the cradle of Chinese culture. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to the train station for the 5 hours soft seat ride to Luoyang, an old city by the side of Yellow river. Transfer to your hotel. (B, L, D)
 
Day 07: Luoyang - Nanjing
Visit the Dragon Gate Grottoes, a world culture heritage, then move on to visit the well-known Shaolin Temple, which is a leading role in Chinese Kongfu. After dinner, take train (soft sleeper) to Nanjing, the capital for six dynasties in Chinas history.(B, L, D)
 
Day 08: Nanjing
Arrive in Nanjing in the morning, transfer to your hotel, then go to visit the magnificent Monument of Sun Yat-sen, in the afternoon, visit Nanjing Museum which has many historic relics about World War II. (B, L, D)
 
Day 09: Suzhou
Take a morning train for 3 hours on soft seat to Suzhou, a beautiful old town, transfer to your hotel, after lunch, visit the famous Humble Administration Garden and the Silk Institute to see the double-side embroidery. (B, L, D)
 
Day 10: Suzhou - Hangzhou
Sightseeing in the Shizilin Garden and the Pan Gate, after lunch, take a train for 4 hours on soft seat to Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, transfer to your hotel. (B, L, D)
 
Day 11: Hangzhou - Shanghai
Visit the beautiful West Lake, Lingyin Temple and Six Harmony Tower, in the late afternoon, take a train for 2 hours on soft seat to Shanghai, Chinas commercial center, transfer to your hotel. (B, L, D)
 
Day 12: Shanghai
Visit Yu Garden in old district, and Jade Buddha Temple, after lunch, visit the TV tower to enjoy the panoramic view of the whole city, then walk down the Nanjing Road to have a look at this best-known shopping street in China. After dinner, Acrobatic Show.(B, L, D)
 
Day 13: Shanghai
Sightseeing in the Bund, then transfer to airport for your departure.(B)
