  Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
Welcome to China! Your local guide will pick you up with private transfer at Beijing Airport according to your flight schedule. We will leave the first balance day free for you to recover from the jet lag or explore the city by yourself.

Day 02: Beijing
One day of downtown visit to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven is scheduled on the second day.(B,L)

Day 03: Beijing
A day of suburb travel to Great wall, Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb awaits you today. You will also have a chance to see the appearance of the Birds Nest in the distance on the way back to the downtown.(B,L)

Day 04: Beijing (Free Day)
No escorted tour on the fourth day while the accommodation with breakfast is reserved for you. You could explore the city on your own freely. We especially recommend the Fragrant Hill Park for your reference. It is located in the east part of western hills, 28 kilometers northwest of the Beijing City. This famous royal garden park is regarded as a best place to enjoy the maple leaves. Half day is enough to climb the hills, enjoy the sights along the way and have leisure by nearby stroll. Reaching the top from the north hill could save you some time and the scenery along the way is also attractive. The sights could be easily accessed by bus 318, 331, 333, 360, 634. If youre off from the Wangfujing district, take the No. 1 metro railway to the Bajiao Amusement Park and connect No. 60 bus directly heading to the foot of the Fragrant Hill. The total expense is only CNY12 for one way trip. If you are still energetic, you could also add the Beijing botanical garden into your itinerary. Day 05: Beijing - Xian
For your last day in Beijing, the guide will lead you to explore the Summer Palace, Yonghe Lamasery and see the lovely pandas in the Beijing Zoo. After dinner, bid farewell to the guide in Beijing by boarding an overnight soft sleeper train to Xian.(B,L,D)

Day 06: Xian
Arrival in Xian on the sixth day morning, you will be picked up by the local guide at the railway station and transferred to the 3-star hotel for 2 nights . Check in the hotel and have a breakfast. Then the escorted Xian tour is scheduled to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall.(B,L)

Day 07: Xian (Free Day)
The seventh day is a free day while the hotel with breakfast is reserved for you. For your free time in Xian, beginning at City Hotel to the north walk for 5 minutes to the Bell tower - the center of this historical city.  Take the time to explore in the downtown area on your own freely. Look for some snacks at the Islamic Flavor Street near the drum tower in the evening. (B)

Day 08: Xian - Guilin
The Xian tour comes to an end on the eighth day, take a shuttle bus or taxi (about CNY150) to the airport and board a flight to Guilin by yourself. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by the local guide at Guilin airport. Transfer you to the 3-star hotel for 2 nights stay and take the balance day to have a stroll in this scenic city by yourself.(B)

Day 09: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
On the ninth day morning, having a big breakfast at the hotel since the lunch on the Li River cruise is not up to the normal standard. The guide will transfer you to board the cruise ship. The following Li River cruise tour and a half-day Yangshuo trip will be handled on your own. The cruise may get to Yangshuo at about 14:00 p.m. Upon arrival, you are advised to stroll along the famous Yangshuo west street, where there are many bars, coffee shops, western-style restaurants and souvenir stalls. Alternatively, since Yangshuo is famous for the wonderful rural scenery, you could rent a bicycle or an electric car to tour around the countryside, which is not far away from the town and usually it will take one and a half hour. After that, it s time for you to go back to Guilin, purchase a ticket (CNY14 per person ) at the nearby bus station and take a taxi to the hotel in Guilin by yourself.(B,L)

Day 10: Guilin - Shanghai
The tenth day is free for you as the highlight scenic spots of Guilin could be easily accessed by yourself.  You are advised to visit the Reed Flute Cave, located in the Guangming Hill, northwestern of Guilin city. 40 minutes to linger in the amazing nature-formed sights under the spotlights is worthwhile. No.3 or No. 58 bus (free) could take you there. Take the balance day to the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Late in the afternoon, take a shuttle bus or a taxi to the airport and board a flight to Shanghai by yourself. Upon arrival at the Shanghai airport, take a taxi to the reserved 4-star hotel for 3 nights stay and handle the check-in procedure on your own. The balance day is free.(B)

Day 11: Shanghai (Free Day)
A free day is left for you to explore this international metropolis by yourself and we only reserved the hotel with breakfast for you. You are advised to visit the Qibao old Town to feel the water township and taste the typical appetizing local dim sums. The narrow old street in the center symbolizes old Shanghai. The sights could be reached by Metro Line No.1 to cohejie, and then connected by the bus Route 92.(B)

Day 12: Shanghai (Free Day)
We intend to leave a more free day in Shanghai for you to savor the international metropolis flavor further. Youre advised to visit the symbolistic scenic spots as Shanghai museum, Yuyuan Garden and the Nanjing Road by yourself. Otherwise, you could refer to Shanghai free day suggestions to choose your favourite tour schedule.(B)

Day 13: Shanghai
On the thirteenth day, check out the hotel and board your homeward flight by yourself. A leisurable China tour ends.(B)
