Day 1. Beijing - Chengde
Private vehicle and tour guide will pick up from your hotel in Beijing and transfer to Beijing Railway station. Our tour guide will company you to your train carriage. Take early morning train to Chengde.
Arrive at Chengde Railway station at about 11am. Chengde tour guide will meet you at the entrance of your train carriage. Be transferred to your hotel for check in. After lunch, visit the Summer Resort. Built between 1703 and 1792, the Summer Resort served as the second political center of the Qing imperial court and the emperors of the early Qing Dynasty often spent their summers there. Take sightseeing in this attraction for 2 hours. Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour. (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 02. Chengde - Beijing
Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am. Visit the Temple of Potaraka Doctrine. Built in 1767 and completed almost four years later. It is modeled on the great Potala Monastery in Lhasa and is thus also known as the Little Potala. The buildings are a synthesis of Han and Tibetan styles. Visit the attractions for one hour. Then we will visit the Temple of Universal Peace. The temple was built in 1755 to commemorate the Qing Dynasty victory over a troublesome Mongolian force. The temple was also known as the Big Buddha Temple (Dafo si), a reference to the huge statue of Avalokiteshvara. Transfer to railway station for train back to Beijing.
Our tour guide and van from Beijing will transfer you to the hotel in Beijing. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Payment method: 1. Pay our tour guide in cash in Beijing (USD and Chinese currency are both acceptable) 2. Pay us via credit card at least one week before tour date; 3. Pay us via Western Union at least 1 week before tour date; 4. Transfer payment to bank account of our company at least 3 weeks before tour date.
