Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from the hotel at about 17:20. Drive to the duck restaurant, enjoy duck dinner which is one of the most popular food in China. After having dinner, drive to enjoy the Chinese Kungfu Show-one of the most famous performance arts in China. You will be transferred back to your hotel by 21:30.
The ducks were originally roasted in a conventional convection oven until Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911) when roast ducks became a delicacy in the imperial menu and were highly regarded by emperors and other members of the ruling classes. The ducks used during this period were a special breed namely the White Beijing Duck and a new method of cooking was employed, by suspending the ducks over the flame in an open oven. These two traditional methods of cooking have resulted in the two major present day schools of roast duck preparation.

( CHC)-- Chinas leading performance art production company. This newly-produced show is put on in the Red Theater located on the east of Tiantan Hotel in Xing Fu Dajie, Chongwen. CHC has collected a group of the best Kung Fu practitioners of China and invited the best directors and designers of the country. The show is a must-see production in Beijing for tourists and Kung Fu lovers.The show lasts about one and half hours.
